In a report from Motoring, Mazda has apparently greenlit the next -generation rotary powered coupe -- the RX-9. This shouldn’t be too big a shock, considering Mazda's RX-Vision concept debuted at last year's Tokyo motor show with rotary power. Motoring assumes the RX-9 prototype will be ready for the 2017 Tokyo motor show, with an actual production version making an appearance in 2019.
